You can apply different strategies to different enemies. For example, if melee does big damage to big bandit while he charges, then having a snare that holds him in place makes it work to your advantage. In a game where enemies either try to touch you or shoot at you, being able to consistently nullify one of those effects is really powerful.Īlso worth mentioning, if we are to take a look at base plant it's definitely not outstanding compared to some other characters at first, but it's how you take advantage of the snare. Combined with thronebutt, and you basically have a web where you can pray on any enemy within it. Especially with big snare, you have a safety net that can help defend against the aggressive playing elite inspectors and egrunts, palace dogs, assassins, explofreaks and so on. That being said, some things are a lot better at killing you than other things, and being able to turn the tables on things that can commonly kill you isn't something to be underestimated.
